Public Sector Bid Training

Whilst we are happy to provide outsourced bid management services for customers, we also run internal training workshops to train your teams on how to write effective bids. Unlike some public training courses, our courses are tailored to the needs of each customer and focus on public sector tenders which have a number of key differences to private sector bids.

Suppliers often spend considerable time and effort bidding for public sector contracts, and are then disappointed and frustrated when they are unsuccessful. It is sadly often not the best suppliers who win work but rather those who understand the way bids work in the public sector and how to write effectively to maximise scores. Fortunately much of this is easy to learn and by empowering your internal teams to put themselves in the shoes of the evaluators, they will be positioned to promote your business in the most effectve ways to win work. Standard bid training courses are often too generic and include elements which can lose marks on public sector bids rather than increase them, and so to optimise your bids a dedicated public sector bid training event is preferable.

Our bid training course covers the full lifecycle of bids, from the importance of the bid-no bid review and deciding whether to tender for an oppprtunity, developing your win themes, storyboarding answers, structuring answers to maximise scores, stylistic tips, effective clarification questions and executive summaries. Our standard course is a half day session delivered on-site for up to 10 participants, although we are happy to discuss alternative formats to ensure we meet your particular needs.
